PP Boilers

DEAERATOR

A Deaerator is a vital component in boiler feedwater systems, designed to remove dissolved gases—primarily oxygen (O₂) and carbon dioxide (CO₂)—from feedwater before it enters the boiler. These gases, if not removed, can cause severe corrosion to boiler tubes, feed lines, and economizers. PP Boilers offers high-performance tray-type and spray-type deaerators engineered to improve feedwater quality, reduce maintenance costs, and extend boiler life.

Compliance

IBR-certified and ISO 9001:2015 compliant

Pressure Parts

Operating pressure up to 120 kg/cm²

Fans (FD, ID, PA)

Flow rates up to 500,000 m³/hr

Temperature

Up to 540°C (for superheater coils)

Key Points

  • Oxygen & CO₂ Removal: Strips out corrosive gases to prevent pitting and scaling inside the boiler
  • Thermal Conditioning: Heats feedwater upto 150°C, improving boiler efficiency
  • Storage & Surge Control: Acts as a reservoir to stabilize feedwater supply to the boiler, especially during load fluctuations
